A new University based email address has been created for each staff. Please use the following guides to access yours. The address has the form
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
with a temporary password for each staff member. Your username is constructed from your
SURNAME and THE FIRST LETTER OF YOUR FIRST NAME and your ID NO.
as follow;
SURNAME+FIRST LETTER OF YOUR NAME+ID NO.+@BUK.EDU.NG
Example, for a staff with a name:
Jibrin Ahmed Tukur and an ID card number P100/12345 or JP12345
his email address is

and his temporary password is
buk12345
Immediately you logged in, you would be advised to change the temporary password. Please change and record the new password for future reference.
