A new University based email addresses have been created for all staff. Please use the following guides to access yours. The address has the form
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
with a temporary password for each staff member. Your username is constructed from your
SURNAME and THE FIRST LETTER OF YOUR FIRST NAME and your ID NO.
as follow;
SURNAME+FIRST LETTER OF YOUR NAME+ID NO.+@BUK.EDU.NG
. Example, for a staff with a name:
Jibrin Ahmed Tukur and an ID card number P100/12345 or JP12345
, his email address is

and his temporary password is
buk12345
. Immediately you logged in, you would be advised to change the temporary password. Please change and record the new password for future reference.
